GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
    1. Any and all participants in the water activities (“Participant”), events, workshops, instruction, activities, competitions, programs, sessions, and services of Wake qa for tourism (the “Activities”) has/have to abide by the general terms and conditions set forth hereinafter (the “Terms”).
    2. Wake qa for tourism and their respective partners, managers, members, employees, coaches, trainers, volunteers, personnel, participants, agents, sponsors, owners/operators of the facilities at which the Activities take place, and representatives (collectively Wake qa for tourism) may refuse service to any Participant breaching or failing to comply with the following Terms:
  1. Responsibility
    1. The Participant agrees and undertakes to sign the Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, and Indemnity Agreement provided to each Participant prior to the Activities.
    2. Wake qa for tourism may deny access to the Activities if a Participant fails to present the above-mentioned signed agreements.
    3. The Participant should be above 18 years old or must be accompanied by an adult (minimum age to be able to participate in any Activity is 6 years old).

  1. Discipline and Inappropriate Behavior
    1. Participants must follow the staff members’ instructions at all times. Failure to comply with such instructions may result in immediate cancellation of the Session and further exclusion of the Participant from any and all Activities.
    2. In the case that a Participant’s behavior is deemed inappropriate, Wake qa for tourism reserves the right to exclude the Participant from any and all Activities at the latter’s own responsibility.
    3. Inappropriate behavior is defined as but is not restricted to, damage to Wake qa for tourism property, disruptive behavior, and any form of verbal or physical aggression towards staff members and personnel or other persons of Wake qa for tourism including marina personnel.
    4. If the Participant is excluded from the Activities for the reasons mentioned above, the obligations of Wake qa for tourism towards the Participant cease to exist, and Wake qa for tourism will be under no obligation to offer any kind of refund or compensation whatsoever.
    5. The Participant will be responsible for damages to Wake qa for tourism property. Should any of the above-mentioned behavior result in material damages, Wake qa for tourism reserve the right to retain and claim from the Participant any amount to cover repairs and/or replacement.

  1. Obligation
    1. The Participant must know how to swim on their own and must wear a life vest during the entire Session.
    2. The Participant will have to book a minimum session of 60 minutes from dock to dock. The Participant is required to be on berth at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of each Session.
    3. Any delay in starting the session due to the Participant will be deducted from the allotted time of the Session. Each Session will always finish at the assigned time.
    4. The Participant cannot claim any weather conditions to cancel or no-show to a booked Session. No refunds or compensation shall be given for canceled or no-show Sessions under the pretext of weather conditions.
    5. Wake qa for tourism will be operational in all weather conditions. However, Wake qa for tourism may decide, at its own discretion, that the weather conditions require the suspension of the Activities. In such case, the Session will be canceled and postponed to a later date. The participant will be provided with a voucher for the next Session.

  1. Price and Payment
    1. ​Listed prices are inclusive of boats, wakeboards, wakesurf boards, ropes, wetsuits, and helmets (integrated with headsets to receive suggestions).
    2. Participants shall settle the fee for the selected service prior to the commencement of the Activities or Session. Failure to make the payment prior to the start of the Session will result in the cancellation of the Participant’s booking and Session without any further notice and the Participant will be denied access to the Session.
    3. Participants may purchase Wake qa for tourism’s voucher valid for several Sessions. Each Session shall be credited from the voucher using the code received by email to book the designated time slot online through the website prior to the commencement of the Activities or Session.Such voucher is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged in part or full for cash.

  1. Cancellation Policy and Refund
    1. Wake qa for tourism reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the Participant’s booking at any time before the start of the Session. In such an event, Wake qa for tourism will refund the fees paid for that Session by means of a voucher for the next Session.
    2. The Participant can cancel a Session up to 24h prior to the booked Session by giving notice to Wake qa for tourism via WhatsApp or by phone at the hereunder-mentioned contact details. The Participant will get a refund by means of a voucher for the next Session.
    3. The Participant who cancels a Session less than 24h prior to, or no-show at, a booked Session will have no right to claim any refund of compensation or any kind.
    4. All types of refunds provided by Wake qa for tourism are by means of vouchers and in no way Wake qa for tourism shall refund in cash or by any other similar means. Vouchers can be used as payment, or a part payment, for a future booking.

  1. Health and Safety
    1. Participant must inform the Company and Co of any medical condition or injuries that he may have before the start of the Activities.
    2. The sole responsibility for the Participant safety and health remains with the latter.

  1. Jurisdiction
    1. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be governed by the Qatari Law and shall be finally settled before the courts of the State of Qatar.

  1. Miscellaneous
    1. Participants shall bring their own drinking water, towels, sun protection, and personal needs. Wake qa for tourism will not provide such items.
    2. These Terms, together with the Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims and Indemnity Agreement, and Private and Cookies Policy constitute an entire agreement between the Participant and Wake qa for tourism
    3. No variation or addition to the Terms shall be binding unless agreed in writing by Wake qa for tourism
